Hi Everyone,

I'm moving house in the next few months.
Can anyone offer me advice on the best way to move my fish tank?

Many thanks

if it has fish you need to bag them, like the fish store does,. then take all the water out but try to save as much of is as you can. all would be best. that way when you get back just put the water back in and in a couple of days any bactiria that died should be back. leave some water in just to gravel, substrate level.

What you will need to do is save about 50% of the water and put the fish in bags like bucky said and put the gravel in buckets with enough water to cover it and put the filter media in a bag with a some of the fish then take it to the new house and set it back up.

Just moved house twice in 6 mnts. Bagged up fish , left media in filter, sand in bottm of tank, and refilled. no probs yet. Just be as quick as poss. My fish were in bags for 5 hrs.
