Moved The Tank.

Yesterday, I was doing my water change, and my parents were like, we may as well move the tank. as it was ontop of my computer desk, and was hard to reach for doing changes, feeding, etc.

I have my own homemade stand. Which isn't super sturdy, but it works.
It's also super handy, because when I wake up, I can just reach over and feed them while lying down.

The only thing I hate about it is the trickling RIGHT BESIDE MY EAR.

lol yeah the sound of the filter pooring water into the tank can get kinda obnoxious at night when your sleeping..

i have my tank in my room too lol

Lol I have my tank in my room also, as my mum and dad didn't want it in the living room ... oh the joy of the filter when your trying to sleep .... sighhh!

Ive found that I am so used to the filter...I can't sleep without it. Gotta love it when you wake up in the middle of the night, panicky cause something feels wrong...and it turns out the power went out and the filters all shut off. The amount of prior sleep dictates exactly how long it takes to figure out its totally silent of course...

Im with you on this one.

After a long time sleeping with a HOB filters peaceful water trickeling sounds I once had to sleep at another house for 5 nights and I found it very hard and uncomfortable to get to sleep and to stay asleep. It was aweful trying to sleep in total silence.

The water fall sounds is nice but if you have to deal with a air pump buzz or a noisey filter than that is a whole nother story.

Yeah, thank god mine's a trickle one. My small 1 gallon has a rumbley thing which sucks.

I love the sound of filters while i'm trying to sleep - really relaxes me. Though when I came back from a week away, the noise was really loud and for the first couple nights did disturb my sleep.

So I sleep over the noise of 5 filters now

I sleep with 3 but there is a door separating me and the room but I can still hear the really low rumble of them.

ive just put a tank on my bed side table and i have a fluval 1+plus and it can be sooo anoying .
