Moulded Glass Tanks

Hi all,

Im a big fan of this forum and regularly take advice from here but have always been a little nervous to post as i still feel very naive about the subject.

I am looking at buying a new tank 1200mm L 350mm W 550mm something around this size and have noticed a few moulded glass tanks for sale. Is there anything I should be aware of about moulded glass tanks.

Thanks for response in advance I felt it better to appear stupid than to spend a substantial amount of money only to have a below par tank.

When you say "moulded glass tanks", are you referring to a bow front? If not, what shape is it?

I think it is bowed yes,
No joins at the front like u would see with your conventional tank, just 1 piese of glass moulded to the shape
