Hi there,
I could use some help! One of my glowlights is looking very strange--it looks like there are white marks or lumps inside the fish.
Tank size: 30 L
pH: 7.4
ammonia: 0
nitrite: 0
nitrate: <5ppm (using API liquid test kit)
tank temp: 26 degrees C
Fish Symptoms (include full description including lesion, color, location, fish behavior): One of six glowlights appears to have white lesions inside it. It's not misshapen in any way. It is moving and eating normally. None of the others have any signs of ill health. These marks appeared in the last couple of weeks. If they weren't see-through fish I don't think I would have spotted the marks!
Volume and Frequency of water changes: 25% weekly
Chemical Additives or Media in your tank: Using Melafix. Filter has sponge and Seachem Matrix.
The tank's been established for about six months now. I recently added a few new plants, but that's about it.
I'm in Australia, if that helps. I tried to take some photos on my iPhone, but they're all too blurry--damned quick little fish!
