i was wondering which pleco is the most active?i hear that flash plecs are.

Out of mine, my common, then my bristlenose. My rusty was incredibly active as a youngster, now he's grown up a bit he's got lazy. My flash plec wasn't that active at all - but I cant really comment on that, as he passed away a few weeks after I got him.

oh sorry to hear that.ive also heard alot about green phantoms

We have a Green Phantom and he's probably the most active out of our Plecos. He used to hide a lot when we first got him but now he's out and about all day. :)

When I had a couple of commons they were reasonably inactive during the day, and quite active at night.

The Pitbulls I just bought, don't hide, don't seem to be nocturnal. They sit in the front on view on the sand and mooch about here and there during the day, and stick to the glass feeding on the algae at night. Much more active, but then they are smaller.

Yep - my green Phantom (L200) has always been the most active and out and about. Though fast as lightning!

My para/L075 pleco spends the most time out and about out of all my pleco's, he only rarely dwells in the caves offered in the tank, most of the time you'll see him exploring the tank looking for food :good: .
