More questions bout my new marine tank!

Hi everyone I went out and bought my new tank 2day. It is lovely! It is 27.5 UK gallons and has a built in heater and filter. I added one bag of salt and mixed it in with the result of a cloudy salt storm, still have another bag to go.

My LFS said to me 2day that I couldn't put live rock on the live sand that I would have to have a layer of plain rock first. Is this true or were they just trying to get me to buy more stuff?

I didn't get any rock but got a bag of live sand which I will add to the tank once the salt has reached the right level.

Has anyone got any advice for me?
I'm so excited!!!!!

Hi Juliehodson

You should ask marine questions on the marine forum as most of the expetise on the forum is freshwater. perhaps if one of the mods is listening they could move this for you. You will get more help over there.
