are plecos nocternal or just hate light? my pleco hides all day and doesn't come iut until the lights go off. when i first got him he had a bad eye infection that i quickly treated but even after it got better he still seems a bit sensitive -_-

and is there anything else i can feed my pleco? i alternate him between my 2 10g every other week to eat upp all that fresh alge but at times theres just not enogh, i thogh in alge tabs but he wont touch em, the only ones who show interest r my 2 corys. is there any kind of boiled veggies i can throgh in for him?

Common plecos are often nocturnal along with many species of pleco. I wouldn't worry, he's fine.

As for feeding, make sure you throw in those algae tablets after the lights have gone out. You can also offer a variety of vegetables including cuccumber, zucchini, sprouts, peas and lettuce (not iceberg). You also don't have to boil them - just weight them down with a plant weight.

Commons also like meaty foods such as bloodworm and shrimp pellets. My common also likes prawns.

yea iv heard of plecos eating meat, im sure mine would but my corys will gobble it up first :D iv dont boiled letus and cubcumbers, he nibbled both but the cucumber got my gupys sick -_- ill stick to the letus i guess. thanx a bunch!
