I have an old thread from my fishroom, but today, I'm stuck at home and started taking photos. So for anyone interested, here's a vague tour.

Picture 1 - a view to the back
2 - out the window. Living in the middle of nowhere does allow for space...
3 - south window. What's a fishroom without plants?
4- or without plants and sunlight? I have 3 windows, 2 south, one west. The plants keep me from having serious algae issues.
5 - my workspace table, facing 2 4 foot 40s.
6 - two 75s
7 - a 10 gallon for Epiplatys huberi killies
8 - mostly 10 gallon breeder tanks

9- more mixed sizes
10 - the 10 gallon killie tanks
11 - a 40 long and smaller tanks above
12- more water filled clutter
13 - my 6 foot tank of tetras and Corys
14 - a mystery - we caught these as Enteromius (Barbus) jae in the summer of 23 in Gabon, but that they are not that. It's an unnamed relative of jae, in a breeding tank. Wish me luck.

Six foot tank for a six foot plus guy.

Back when it was in the house, my wife said if it leaked, she'd cut my feet off and bury me in it. I'm safer with it in the garage/fishroom.
Oh yeah, the ole, "Trust me honey, I've got this!" Looking outside your window, does your lawn have some sort of white fungus?

It's January. Isn't every fishroom surrounded by snow? Although to be fair, that is just patches left over after a quick melt.

I had a spawning of my second generation Parananochromis brevirostris swim out yesterday. A small group of fry, but better than none. Their wild caught grandparents are still alive and well, and are excavating their own cave again.

@Archerfish the outdoor ground fungus has expanded. Last night, the sky had ich, but today, what appears to be diluted methelyne blue is poking through the clouds.

I think we need a lighting change as there is a lack of green.

Older style pvc with drilled in valves, from which I attach silicone airline. I don't like the way silicone airline falls off sometimes. It doesn't grip the filters well. But I found my last few buys of old style airline became very rigid very fast, and weren't much better.

I have 2 linear piston pumps, one 3 years old and 1 20 years on that feed into the pvc, which is in a rectangular loop all around the room. I should have bought a pump 2 sizes up, but I was being cheap, as usual.

You're very lucky to have a dedicated building for your installation. That's an impressive setup for sure :) Looks like a lot of fun going on there !!!

After looking deeper in you pictures I felt you need a sign like this ;)

That's so funny, Gary! Very creative. I thought I would never miss the snow when moving to Florida but sort of do during the holiday's.
