I'm proud to report that Gypsy got microchipped yesterday . I figured it was a good idea, since we're moving to Austin next week and I wouldn't want her to get lost and be unidentified in a big city like that. Plus, she is a very cute pure-bred chihuahua, and a target for those who steal pets...

aheh, most dogs are supposed to be much thinner than most people keep them. especially lap dogs. people spoil them and let them sit around cuz that's "what they're supposed to de" blah. My friend always gets accused of starving his pug because he doesn't overfeed it (and it runs around all day).

VERY cute dog, synirr. I rather like the long haired chihuahuas. Not so big on the short haired ones.

Hehe no, she's not skinny, the vet said she's the perfect weight when she went to get the chip put in
She's very good about maintaining her own weight, she knows when she is full. She is offered canned food twice a day and has dry food out all the time if she wants it, so we're not underfeeding her or anything
