More fish

Hey, i have a senegalus bichir and a lil firemouth cichlid in a 30 odd gallong tank, they are both doing fine but is there any other fish i can add? i was thinking a ABF bt they are difficult to feed. Any suggestions?

ABFs aren't hard to feed, mine eats freezedried krill, brine, bloodworms, basically no regular foods, just floating foods that aren't sticks, flakes or pellets. They can also be fed crickets

ok so ABF arnt hard to feed, bt is it vital for them to have plants on the surface?? Are they likely to get bothered or bother the firemouth. Did u mean u feef urs danois or i shuld get them???

Danios don't have to be fed to them. They feel more secure with plants on the top, and are less likely to jump with a few there If the firemouth tied to start problems the ABF will more then likely teach him not to mess around in his tertitory

ok cool, well ive gt big amazon plants bt ill get a few floaters. The firemouth are spose to be fairly aggressive bt mine isnt, bt it may...fish turn aggressive. So it will eat blood worms? wot about crickets and things i can find in the house. Is it feed as much as the bichir?

Crickets yes , small ones .

Over the summer we fed ours many insects found near our outside lights at night , moths, beetles , other winged things .


Never tried spiders or anything like thjat and probably never would .
