More Corys?

My son has a relatively new 10 gallon tank with 3 small tetras and two corys. We had these guys for about two weeks. One of the corys hides in small cave all day long, coming out for only a few minutes to eat and sometimes at night (although its hard to tell in the dark ). Do you think another cory would help him be more "social"?

yes add some more, my daughter had 3 and we got 2 more and they come out so much more, and love to play with each other

yup, they're really best in groups of 5/6+ they very sociable fish and you'll see loads more of them if you get a group.

I have 3, that play like mad and are out all the time. Definitely recommend that you buy more

I just put in 3 cories in my angelfish tank and they play all the time and don't hide much. They play and tunt the angelfish, it is cute to watch them at night swimming around the angelfish, the angels try to get them but they quickly swim away. LOL

I thought that too. Until I bought 5 new albino cories to live with my current adult, and found out he still didn't want to come out
