i went to get the male and female that i had the credit for ... got a metallic dark silver/purple... and i also found a yellow guy.... so i had to buy him... some girl kept lookin at it and deciding if she wanted it or not... then her moms like... better go get some food first... so i grabbed it ahahahah.. MINE... i also had a credit for a female so i got a pretty big one.. has a giant tail thats totally round... weird never seen one like it.. ill get some pics later or tomorrow... and a cory ... im wondering... can my cory go with 4 female bettas in an 8 gallon tank?.. or will they attack it?

The cory shoule be fine with the fems. But the cory really needs some friends. Maybe like 3 more?? They do better in groups.

hm.... maybe hed be better off in my 10 gallon with guppies... theres 2 cories in there...... hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm

i tried it with the bettas but all 4 bettas chased him and attacked him the whole minute he was in there lol... it was like a race to attack the poor lil guy... o well hes now in a 10 gallon with 2 other cories (all albino) so he should be happy there not bein attacked.... but i think out of the bettas i got, the female and 1 male are sibling pair... they have exact same colors... so i think ill breed them eventually... my petcetera betta from 2 weeks ago is startin to get some tail rot so i put in meds and hopefully he will be ok soon.

I'd like to see the pic of the yellow one, my stores locally dont have anything as "exotic" as a yellow one.

Though they thought I must have been crazy as I stood in front of the display of beta cups for about an hour before finally deciding on a red/white/blue guy.

He's got kind of a silveryblue body (depending on where he is in the tank), with red fins and white tips on the fins.

I did manage to pickup 2 african dwarf frogs to go in the tank, but apparently ones already escaped somewhere, probably into the back sump somewhere or rolling around on the carpet covered in dog hair.

Anyway, would love to see the yellow one. Would also love to find one locally or even an all black one would be great.

I would put more then one cory i there with them (cory like to school so 4-6 is going to let the look a little more menasing to the females).

Not suprisingly it should take your fish a few days/hours to get used to each other, but cory have a very tough sharp armour which will protect them from bettas. Trust me- I've picked them up... it's very sharp!!

I've acutally found that corys have a soothing effect with my girls & actually reduces their fighting.

or the frog could be in pieces from ur betta
Nope, found it this morning, it had gotten into the back sump, fortunately it was in the sump area that contains the polyfilter material, so he had nowhere to go, I just gently scooped it back into the main tank. I can imagine this being an ongoing situation though, so I'll have to find a way to seal it off to prevent them getting in there.
