hey! i was working at my lfs 2day, im doin wrk experience there. I jst saw there Fw moray eel. Are the fw? they are the same as the one in a topic earlier. How big do they get, wot kind of tank wuld be needed??

I'm pretty sure those are brackish to saltwater. They get about 2-3 feet long though, so get a big tank! -_-

As said FW morrays are not freshwater at all and will need to be kept in a brackish tank with a fairly high SG. They are ferocious predators and will try to eat any fish that they think they can eat, ours has recently tried to eat a 4" shark cat and has eaten a 3" sailfin molly. They can reach up to 30" and will need a minimum of a 75g tank.

They can live in FW water when they are yung but as they get older u must move them into Brackish or salt water. They can get 2 - 5 ft +

Some of the larger FW moray eels can even be some what poisoniss.

Sorry :/
