Mopani Wood

Managed to get some nice Mopani wood , two lumps for a centre piece after much searching, it recommends that i soak them for at least three weeks (according to a care label one both lumps)

firstly i have them in a 24 hr soak at the moment and some pretty heavy tanins are being released in a 3 gallon container, should i wait or empty the water and refill ? thus discarding the tanins, tank arrives next week - Fluval Roma 125 - 33.3 Gallons(us) - at last!

if you drain and refill you will help to remove more of the tannis
this will help you from getting the tea colored water that comes with bog wood
