Moonlights?

I was wondering about purchasing a moonlight. Do your nocturnal fish really come out when they are on? Do fish really believe it is night time?

I have seen pics of these lights and they definately make tank look cool, that may be enough for someone to buy it. However, I just wanted to know if fish respond to it also?

I use one in my biggest tank and my fish seem to like it. They seem to shill out a bit and the nocturnal fish sometimes come out. I think it depends on how much light is on outside the tank too though.

I also just bought one for my cube tank and it was only a little more than a white bulb from here http/www.aquatics-online.co.uk/listsecti...retp=42&rets=80.
