moonlight

depends what fish you have...

in our moonlite tank we have some barbs, some rummy noses and our plecs.

After say 1-2 hours after lights out (with moonlight on, tank and room lights out), if the mid swimmers arn't floating spookily in the same position (ie asleep) then it's too bright.

only the nocternal fish should be active with the moonlights on ;)
 
ok cool! none of my fish seem out of place at night :D ..guppies at the surface ..neons floating lifelessly ..kuhlis going crazy ..bamboo shrimp and MTSs out and about looking for food ..i dunno about my cories its like they dont sleep.. they ALWAYS seem to be looking for food ..lil pigs :wub:
