Moon Lights

Has anyone got moon lights installed on thier tank? I love to watch my tank at night with the blue light on, and have thought about buying soom moon effect LEDs.

I was particulary interested in this model, its just £45. Maybe some of you have used this? I was wondering how the unit looks, its size and shape so I can work out if it will fit my hood.

FYI... if your looking to see what little critters come out at night.... its best to use red light as most of the creatures cannot see in this spectrum... so they will continue to move around without getting scared....


if you want something that makes your tank look nice, moonlights are great.... I have 4 led's over my tank and it makes the tank glow a nice blue and looks great to just sit and watch a seemingly different tank.
