I have just made a Moon light kit folowing the DIY pinned guide (cheers guys :good: ) but I'm curious as to how people attached theirs? I have a Trigon 190 and was thinking of attaching the lights by:

1) Silicon them to the lid of the tank
2) Drill small holes and cable tie them to the lid of the tank
3) Using velcro sticky strips

Which one would you use and how have you attached your DIY kits?

Thanks :D

Thanks! I used Silicone too. It should be easy enough to remove if I need too!

I was wondering about this as well. It looks as if the diameter of the tubes is about 10mm (I haven't bought mine yet). I'd like to clip them on neatly in the same way that fluorescent tubes are held on. The smallest tube diameter (as far as I know) is T4 which is about 12mm. I'm not sure if clips for this size are commonly available (had a search on the internet but couldn't find any) or if, at 12mm, they'd be too loose without some form of packing between the tube and the clip.
