i have an 8 month old lab, who is finally undergoing with her owners dog training. the trainer is a little like Ceaser in a lot of ways, and is teaching us how to give her boundaries. before class began taking her for a walk was a struggle, she would have to be pulled the first half of the walk, and the second half of the walk we would be dragged. leaving both parties exhausted, and me often with a sore arm. the trainer was teaching us the with me command that gets the dog to walk by your side with very little tension on the leash, and sit when you come to a stop.
well i took her for a walk today and it was a beautiful thing, she walked by my side and i barely had to put any tension on the led. i cannot tell you how very proud of her i was, its only been three weeks since we started training but the progress i see in the both of us is amazing, she gets it.

anyways i don't know if i have ever put any pictures of her up here before but i though i would share a current photo, after our walk.

thanks guys, she has been showing willingness to please, she is a smart dog and very stubborn. so the training has been interesting but i can be just as stubborn.
i am also training myself on how to use roller blades properly so i can take her with me, since we both could use more exercise.
don't worry i am planning to wear bubble wrap.
