Molted Shrimp

My shrimp molted while I was out, which I suppose is a good thing.

My question is, do I take the molted shell out, or does it eat it? I'm not sure, and I don't want to hinder it's further growth.

It is a bamboo shrimp.

PS: When I first saw the shell I thought the shrimp had imploded.

I would say to leave it for a day, and take it out tomorrow if it's not gone. It is a good source of protein for them.

Wouldnt worry about it too much, but filter feeding shrimp are not able to eat the discarded shell.
