Mollys With Bettas?

does anyone have actual experiences with these two together?

Our tank is nearly cycled and my friends molly just had fry and she doesnt have room to keep them ( they are in a net at the mo)

we are planning to get a betta after some harlequins are settled but if my friend needs a home for these ill have them instead.

(its a hex 50L tank)

The fry should be ok, depending on their size. Also it is a good idea to have a good few plants in their so the fry have some place to hide, in case of aggression.

my male molly was a jerk to even female betta, the female molly gets along with everyone. its a fish by fish basis. what works in one tank may not work in another.

ive had baby guppies with one of my males , just remove them when they getolder
