mollys all gone

i had 3 female mollys 2 hade babys they looked like that they were all doing well until my heater blow up in the tank at that time i lost 2 mollys the next 2 days i lost the rest we do have alge eaters in the tank and cat fish after about two days all off my babys were gone pleses help me what did i do wrong did the cat a and a : sick: lge eat then if so why help me pleaes

Firstly how big is your tank and what are your ammonia/nitrite/nitrate readings? Ok your heater blew How long have you had it? did you put your fihs into a different tank when it blew? How often do you do water changes? If you put them into a different tank was it cycled?

Hi - sorry to hear about your heater accident! I expect you accidentally let the water level get too low. Heaters will blow up if exposed to the air.
