Was just wondering the type of stuff mollies like in there tank, Can anybody help me?! :hyper:

yeah Plants rocks e.t.c thanks.

I have various different plants in my tank (I'm not a planty person and always forget the names). With rock and a few hiding spaces. This is also for the other fish too. I have a piece of bog wood in there too.

Ok thanks for the reply, what kind of other fish and do they still breed? also what size is your tank? Thanks.

I have a 350ltr with a pakistani loach, 6 peppered corys, a common plec who will be re-homed soon, an angel, a red tail black shark, two very small bala shark who are also to be re-homed, and a krib, whose about 3inches.

Have a 250 ltr with two golden severums (the ones with the vertical lines) and two very small oscars. When I say vey small they're around two inches, I was given the oscars but really need another tank for them as they grow big.

The other tank is a 100ltr, I don't really want this tank as I'm trying to move away for the livebearers, this has plattys and mollys, along with 60+ molly fry and more platty fry. Its really too much.

Nice your tanks are alot bigger than mine ;) do you keep the molly fry in the same tank as the parents/other fish? And do let them just give birth naturally or do you put the Female into a breeder? Thanks. :good:

I have the adult fish in the 350ltr, when the mollys look like they're about to give birth I move them to the 100ltr and let them have them in there. The only reason why I have the fry now is because I had the adults in the main tank and thought they were still pregnant, they had obviously had the fry and were ate by something and were pregnant again. I didn't think they'd had the time to mate again so I put them into the 100ltr (females only) to stop them breeding. They had them in there, that's now my problem.

Well, you're tanks are alot bigger than mine, And i dont have the tank space to move my mollies, There kept in an 120ltr with 3 angels (medium size) If they did have babies id move the female in to a breeder while she gives birth and then divide the tank for the babies until they got a bit bigger and could survive with the other fish. Would this be ok? Thanks for the reply. ;)
