Molly Still Pregnant?!

i posted about this particular molly a while ago now, ive had her for ages now and she has had 2 lots of fry which she had in the tank and they all got eaten!

this time she has been pregnant for about 7 weeks id say, about 2 weeks ago i found a single fry hiding behind the pump which soon got eaten before i could save it! she was still heavily pregnant (still is now)

i set up a 45l tank and put her in it for 5 days after finding the baby in the tank but she didnt have the rest.. can anyone tell me reasons as to why she only had 1 (or a few) fry and didnt give birth to the rest? im very confused!

If you want to save fry, why not just put her into that 45 litre until she drops them? She is fairly close to a drop based on your picture, so move her to that 45 and keep her well fed. After the drop just move her back to the main tank.

i would put her in the 45l tank but i have 26 baby guppies in there at the moment and she would just eat them all..

she looks HUGE today!
