There ius something wrong with Molly latley. for the past two days she wont eat or drink, though she didi eat a bit last night, and she wont play, and she is a feity little thing. She just sits around all day. I am very nervous about her, after what happened with Emma and all, I just get nervous about the girls easily.

We are taking her to the vets today, but I just wanted to know what you all thought may be wrong.

I know she isn't dehydrated, as the vet told us how to check cat's for that.

All the best ! I know you're probalby like an overworried mom, but all fingers and toes crossed that she'll be fine.

You're doing the right thing taking her to the vets though - I'm a firm believe in "rather safe than sorry".

Let us know how it goes

They think she got a virus from the kittens, or an respritory infection. Nothing serious.

I'm glad, as I was nervous.

It seems kittens are notorious for getting respiratory infections.

I have had several that I got out of the paper, and off the street, and from work, and places where I felt they weren't being taken care of and I swiped them (I had to do it once...the cat was half starved....so I cat-napped it and found it a new and better home, after I fattened it up and got it well :D Cost me $400 in vet bills and med's though...poor thing was about dead and sick as could be, little nose all runny and eyes matted up :( ) seems they had one before I got them then after coming home with me the symptoms starting cropping up. After about 4 like that..after I get a new kitten I take them to the vet shortly after acquiring them and have them tested for it. Saves me money in the long run.

I think alot of it has to do with if they've had their kitten shots when they were suposed to...or maybe it's from stress. I dunno..but I know I've had alot that's had them.

I need to quit talking about kittens...I'm gonna end up with more..and my mother will be mad at me all over again lol.

This morning molly vomited, and passed bowl movements that had a stringy looking thing it it, so that means she mayhave a tape worm from the kitten, as they came with fleas! Dirty lady they used to live with, or she could have eaten a string, so she may need x-rays. I hope she doesn't have to stay over at the vets, as we do have to bring her back, as noone will be there as it is a holiday weekend.

We took her in, and they said it's either a big hair ball, or something she swallowed.

They are keeping her over for a few hours for x-rays, but it's nothing to serious.

Yikes you really don't have it easy with kittens do you :S

I'm sure Molly will be fine - let us know
