okay, i am very new at this fish stuff.
i bought a molly last night and came home today and
i had a bunch of babies, i took the molly out of the tank,
(she was the only one in it) and put her in another,

now what do i do with the babies? [care & etc.]

Make sure the babies are safe, careful with the intake tube also, you dont want them to get sucked in through the propeller (rarely any survives).
Make sure you dont have too much turbulence in the tank (reduce the water flow, etc), better to conserve the babies' strength.

Watch out for water parameters, since babies are more sensitive than adults. Maintain that water quality.

You have food for them?
If you dont have any frozen, live ones for them, just crush some flakes/pellets as a temporary measure. Get some quality ones as soon as possible.

There is not much you can do, except watch and enjoy them as they grow up.

Have fun =]

What kind of filter do you have? Canister filters will contain a population of fish fry a lot of times, because they don't work exactly like the HOB filters. Either way, a nylon stocking over the intake tube will do a pretty good job of keeping the fry out of there.

The easiest way to maintain the water quality is to keep up the water quality in the big tank and have them share that same water. Breeding nets for fry provide enough room for quite a while and allow the same flow of water through. Larger volumes of water are easier to maintain for parameters. Crushed flakes are fine if you don't want to get anything else, but there are other foods that have higher contents in fat, which are good for the fry, but not necessary.

Good luck.

Just like what Theo said.
So the fry can live in the Canister along with the high water flow temporary?

Learn something new everyday =]
