My molly has gotten severely skinny, not eating, and sitting at the top of the tank isolated. I tried feeding it food that was right in front of it and it wouldn’t eat. It was fine yesterday. Last time this happened with one of my fish, it died around a week later, i’m not sure what to do.

Yes it is, i’ve had this tank for about two months.
What are your readings for ammonia, nitrIte, and nitrAte?
How about ph, GH, and KH?

I believe I threw away my water tests around last week, however everything was in the normal except water was very hard

You definitely need a water test kit. I suggest the API Freshwater Master Test Kit: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000255NCI/?tag=ff0d01-20

If you can’t get a test kit in a timely manner, ask your LFS to test your water for you. Usually they will do it for free. (Ask for Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate, and pH)

Would you still think it’s the case if only one fish seems sick? The rest are acting normal since I got them
No, it looks like it may be an internal issue, possibly worms. Have you noticed any white/stringy poop?

Yes; fish suffer in varying degrees.
The first step in diagnosing any problems, IMO, is testing your water.
