I have 2 silver molly females that just kind of float in the tank when my male black mollies touch them. I have two other female mollies a golddust and a black, they do not do this just the silver mollies do. Is that something they do or is something wrong with them.

:S :dunno: :S

As long as they can maintain there balance in the water, and don't roll over they should be fine.

My silver molly does that when she is about to give birth, she has done it twice now and the next morning i wake up to baby fry :D

They keep their balance and as soon as the males go on they start swimming again. I didn't think there was anything wrong with them but wasn't sure and wanted to make sure.

Thanks I know they are preg but I didn't think they were that far along yet.
They aren't super fat like my guppies get when they are about to give birth.
I wil keep a closer eye on them until the have babies. :D :D

Thanks for all the help

If it is their first time they may not get huge and have a smaller batch then an older female would I have two female swords and one of them gets huge and has 2-3 times as many fry as the smaller one.

I had guppies that were too young to have many fry and they did not get really big before they had theirs.....so jut keep a good watch on them because you never know whats going to happen :D

Good luck :D

I hope you have fry soon!
