Mollies

Hi,
I got a few Mollies today from a new friend that I met on this forum. I have never had them before. They are really adorable. Since I put them in my tank they have been doing what looks like eating all the algae off the plants. Do they always do this? If I had known this, I would have gotten a few months ago. This particular tank is in a room that has tons of natural light. I have tried Apple Snails, but they would rather eat the bottom feeder food!!! Any advice on Mollies would also be greatly appreciated. I have had them only for a day and already find them really fun and interesting. What great little personalities.

My mollies do the same thing and are wild for algae wafers. They will eat anything I feed them! They are hardy fish and prolific breeders. Some of mine bully other fish, they seem to have unique personalities. I give mollies a 3 thumbs up Great fish.

Oh, yea, my mollies eat lots of algae. But they eat almost anything else too. They're great fish and you should like them! I love mine!!!
