My Mollie just gave birth to 19 babies on this past Friday, 10/17! I am looking for advice on raising the fry. Right now they are in a breeding net (I don't want them to be eaten) and seem to be doubling in size each day. I am feeding them crushed tropical flakes. I have a community tank with tetras, angel fish, guppies, and zebras and I would like to know when I could release them into the population. My guppy also gave birth the day before my mollie, however I didn't know when she was due, so I only found 1 baby and I moved it into the net. It also looks like the zebra might be pregnant also (big surprise because I didn't know the sex of the pair) and 1 is long finned and one is short finned. I was told that they were hard to breed. Any information on any of these topics would be greatly appreciated. :D

wow that is amazing!!! :D im happy for you!!!
well you can release them when they get big enought that the other fish can't fit the in their mouth, or if it takes a while get another tank!!! -_-

Please keep posts concerning livebearers to the livebearers section, this forum is for the breeding of egg laying fish only.
