hi everyone :( Im new to fish here, i have been reading a few of the items on the forum but im not sure what im looking for. One of my mollies has a sort of fluffy growth on her side right beneath her fins. Also her fin looks like its all stuck together. I dont know what it is but shes barely moving now. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated because the pet shop isnt open for a few hours yet

:(

ok after reading up a bit more ive worked out that it must be a fungal infection. These posts are a great help thankyou :) , now i just have to turn the water temperature up, and ill go and get some antifungal stuff to treat the tank...........

Now my other question is will the antifungal stuff affect my guppy fry? Im so confused lol

If you got fish that can handle it, the best med I found for fungus is salt. It doesn't hurt guppy fry.

Well my mollie died this morning. :-( I mustnt have gotten the stuff in time. She died after i put the antifungal stuff in, but all the other fish seem to be doing all right. Ill just have to keep an eye on them. the good news is my guppy fry are all doing well  8 babys swimming round 2 were deformed and one was eaten that i know of. But pretty good for a first attempt i think lol
