Mollie problem?

Hello everyone, hope you can help...

I've sort of stumbled into the world of fish keeping when I won a BiOrb (please don't laugh) I decided to add a heater and put in three female mollies once all the water was OK.
They've been fine, in fact one was pregnant and I managed to keep some of the fry. However yesterday I looked at the black one and it looked like she was giving birth as there was something hanging from just below the anal fin.
Once I was able to see more clearly it was hard to see if it was giving birth or has a problem - the "bubble" is still hanging there this morning and I'm concerned that she has contracted some disease.

Anyone know what this is, if I can treat it, or what?

How is she now, she could be aborting.

I'll never know, as later that day, before I could get another tank to put her in to investigate, she died...I was told it could have been an infection of some kind??
I felt so inadequate....
