I've got some Sea Monkey's and they're fed on a kind of algae (spirulium?). I was wondering if the food could also be used to feed molly fry, as they're algae-eating fish?

I wouldn't do it. That Sea Monkey Food grows like weeds. You have to feed your Sea Monkeys like very other day or very 3 days. Even with 3 days inbetween the feedings, it still takes over teh tank. And since you have to feed teh fry at least 2 times aday, in a matter of a week, your fry tank would be infested with large cultures of Algea, that takes up oxogen, brings bacteria in the water, and every other bad thing possible. Once I lost about 1,000 Sea Monkeys because of this!! And isn't teh food chemicaly formulated for Sea Monkeys only? I don't know about that one, just about the algea that spreads liek wildfire!!
