Mold On My Driftwood?

How is this possible? How can I get rid of it?

Is it a white looking mold? Ive had this, usually in a newly set up tank which has been thru a fishless cycle, but I just take it out, scrub it and put it back in, doesnt normally come back

No its black looking like mildew and there is also some blue mold. I have no idea how blue mold could be on it.

Algae? I regularly take out my driftwood and scrub it with a brush --- I only use this brush for that purpose; never for cleaning anything else.

I take it out of the water for months and put it back in and it just keeps growing.
