Mohinder Died. In His Place, Meet Suresh.

The last two days my Betta Mohinder was acting listless and then developed what looked like a slime on his skin and eyes. I got him some Maracyn but it was too late. When I got home from classes, he was on the bottom not breathing.

I cleaned his tank out and went to get a new fish to fill his place. Meet Suresh, my new Crowntail.

Picked him up at a local PetCo. Was a lucky find!

Suresh is almost and EXACT replica of my guy Cammy that just died earlier this week. And he was from Petco as well. I'm sure not by coincidence... must be a Petco thing as I've seen some very beautiful coppers in there every once in a while (like this guy)

Beautiful fish Remz. Yeah, so far Suresh is taking to his new home rather well. Hasn't started bubblenesting yet, but he was flaring at the decorative snail until he realized the snail wasn't responding lol.

Also, I put a real plant in the tank, hopefully he'll like that more than the plastic thing.

My guys hover to the real plants more than the plastic ones . Sounds like he has as much fight in him as Cam had . He flared at anything out of the ordinary. Hope all goes well for him in his new home

wow suresh is ab fab hes a lovely speciemin. but is mohinder and suresh not the same fish???lol I guess you watch heros.... love that series. Mohinder will now be fine and swimming in fishy heaven.
