Mixture for CO2 geneartion + potein powder

Hi,

What is the basis of adding potein to the sugar/yeast/H2O mixture and how much should be added? I saw a website that mentions the addition of potein powder to the yeast mixture is actually beneficial.. What is your comment on this? I can't seem to find the website again (it was describe in powerpoint).

( protein powder, glucose, sugar, mult ) + yeast = alcohol and CO2


I found sugar the cheapest and easiest to use.
