Mixing tropical puffers

Hi,

i have 1 spotty puffer fish and i am going to buy another one to day so i have 2 spotty puffer fish and i also want to put 2 figure of eight puffers in the tank....will they kill each other?

More than likely, Green spotted puffers (Tetraodon nigroviridis) are anti social and aggressive, just to keep two you will need a tank of at least 40 gallons, adults should not be combined with other species of fish.

Figure 8 puffers (Tetraodon biocellatus) are more sociable to their own kind and can be kept in small groups as long as 10 gallons per fish is provided. However they are still aggressive to other species of fish and should only be kept in a species tank.
