Hi all,

I am currently looking at doing a water change in the next few days, I have filled up a very large bucket (about 8 gallons worth or RO water) done the salt etc etc.

The question is when i put this into the tank can I then leave this bucket heated and pumping till I next do a water change (week later) or does it have to be new fresh RO water each time?

Cheers

Doesnt have to be fresh, just cover it to prevent dust from getting in it :)

Aging saltwater is recommended. Allows complete dissolution of the salt and, when used with a powerhead, improves aeration. Saltwater can be stored for several weeks in a month or two if kept in a container sealed from vapors, dirt, etc and kept in a cool, dark place. SH

Ok cool thanks for that, I didn't want the salt or anything to bugger up so thought i would check.

:good:
