I posted similar question under African cichlids as well, as I'm not sure which topic would be more suitable.. ;)

What would happen if I add a red-tailed shark into a tank full of Pseudotropheus Acei and Yellow Labs? Although these species are two of the most peaceful species, they are still cichlids, so I wonder if they can keep up with the shark...

Initially, they would all be about the same size, at about (or slightly larger than) 2 inches.

That is interesting - so far, only one had problem with this setup, and in this case, the shark managed to kill a chipppokae (that was semper fi's experience). Now that is scary since compare to chipppokae, yellow labs and P Acei are like babies...

Out of curiosity, what is the pH and KH of that tank?

Also, might as well ask this question as well - even though in sounds silly. Could Tiger Barbs be kept with "peaceful" mbuna like Yellow Lab and P Acei?

Appreciate any feedback!

Yup, so far, most are agreeing that this mix is not a good idea... It was just an idea that came into my mind at 3am right in the middle of my dream...

Oh well...
