mixing puffers?

The decent lfs now has readeye puffers. I was thinking about getting one but i'm not sure if he'll mix well with the 5 dps, 8 tigerbarbs, and 1 pleco in my 45g tank. Any idea if they'll be able to co-exist if there's plenty of places to hide?

No, they won't. Although redeye puffers will tollerate other redeye puffers, they are one of the worst fin nippers in the puffer family. Your other fish will be shredded, and your smaller fish (dwarf puffers) killed.

Wow! Just out of curiousity, how big do red eyes get? I know,I really need a decent puffer book, will probably get the one you have!
