Hello

I have recently upgraded to the Vision 260l tank this has amost cycled all water conditions tested all ok but Nitrate seems a bit low at 10ppm is this norm for a new tank?

I am looking to home about 16 Tiger barbs and RTB shark x 1 i also wanted to put a Rainbow shark in but have been told this is not possible. Is this true You get told one thing then somebody else tellsyou different.

I have 5 Zebra Danios also in the tank 2 days ago. I also want one Pleco how long does the tank have to cycle before this type of fish can be added.

Thanks again.

Typically, most sharks hate their own kind and will fight. Second, they hate anything that looks like their own kind, this can be shape and/or colour. So typically, two sharks of any type is a dodgy set up.

That said, these are fish that very much have a personality. Some are really docile and leave everything alone regardless of what it is, others are absolute terrors that will chase down pretty much anything.

I wouldn't do it, but if you have an LFS that is ready to take fish back, then I suppose you could try.

Yea, old post o.o

I dont really know but given space for territorys they may be ok. I know of someone who finds sucess in keeping them in a trio instead of pair o_O
