anyone mixed jardinii and silver aros before?
whats the general rule?

Jardini tend to be very aggressive, and especially so to other aros. I would expect some serious nastiness to be displayed by the jardini towards the silver as the jardini grows. I'm not aware of anyone who has managed this long term with any success.

I have both fish, a 27" silver and a 20" jardini, i would not even consider keeping them in the same tank as the jardini is so aggressive.

There is a possibility of it working in a very large tank with 5-6 silvers and one jardini as the aggression would be more spread out but as a general rule jardini's kill anything in their tank apart from some bottom dwellers.

Although have never kept Jars, my RTG destroyed a silver ( the RTB was approx 14" and the silver was 20" ) and the Jars are the more aggressive of the scleropages family, so I would not recommend.

Steve :)

when the jar gets to 12inch it will kill almost any tank mates you keep with it

jars need to be in a tank of their own maybe a pleco but thats it

My jardini does ok with bichirs and catfish that strictly stick to the bottom, if a fish swims into the top half of the tank then its asking for a beating from the arowana.

MA iver have a silver and jardini together and they are both in a right bad state
the general rule is keep one arowana or keep loads
