Hello every one I am a newbie to the salty side; I have a D&D 24g nano tank.

it has been running for about 4 months now and every thing seems to of settled down nicely I have just bought a large piece of xenia on a piece of live rock {I was advised that this was a good newbie coral as it was hard to kill  and been a newbie that defiantly a good thing :good: } on the rock there are also about 7 or 8 mushrooms but there over swamped by the xenia,

my Q is how can I remove the mushrooms from the rock I would like to keep them if pos and place them some ware else in the tank, is this possible

You can an just slice the mushies off the rock with a sharp knife or razor blade, pop them on your sand in a low flow area and after a few days they will attach themselves to the sand/gravel. You can then glue the sand the mushies have attached themselves to onto another rock with superglue gel. Easy as that. Also where you sliced them off more will grow from the bit left on the original rock. :good:
