Mixed Cory Groups

I know you should keep cory's in a group but do they have to be the same type or can you have a mix of types as long as there is a number of them?

apparently they will school with different species of there own kind, I asked the same question in my LFS the other week.

They do my elegans cory schools with my others, actually he is the "ring leader" so to speak

They will play with others but you will see they tend hang out with thier own kind. You should get 3 of each for them to be really happy. I have 3 albinos 3 bronze but these are both the same kind. I just added 3 pandas they stick together.

If you must get 2 of the same kind but 3 or more is better.
