Hi,
I've got a gorgeous mirror carp who is about 10inch long and lives in a 4ft tank on his own. He has always been incredibly healthy but in the last three days has become listless and has stopped feeding. His top fin (don't know the technical name for it) is down and he spends most of his time at the edge of the tank looking out and not moving. He occasionally flicks or twiches which I know is a bad sign.
I'm assuming he has some kind of infection, but can anyone help me with what it might be and how to treat it???
I haven't done anything to the tank recently - other than I added some water about two weeks ago and forgot to put in some AquaSafe. But that was ages ago and he is only just displaying these symptoms. I've added some AquaSafe now for good measure.
Please can anybody help? I really don't want to lose him....
thanks
