Hi,

I was just wondering if it was possible to put white cloud mountain minnows with celestial goldfish in one of the new 60 litre biorbs???

thanks

The minnows, yes, I'd say maybe 10... but the goldfish, no. BiOrbs are not the greatest thing for goldfish, as they get quite large. If you already have the goldfish, don't get any minnows.

ive some white cloud minows in a cold water set up but its not one of those biorbs just a60g tank. those biorbs are not gold fish freindly due to the size gold fish grow, unless the gold fish are moved on to a bigger tank at that point. B)

I've had minnows with my goldfish for 2.5 years, they just ignore each other. My original 5 are still going, although 1 has recently developed a white growth on his head which refuses to be treated by medication.

Personally I'd say the only fish that can be
kept in a bi-orb is a beta.

They are very badly disigned as they have an extramly small surface area compaired to their volume.

I have 7 minnows which have lived happily with 8 goldfish for about a year now but i only noticed the other day that 3 minnows also have a big white spot on their heads & I've no idea what to do about it! I also have 1 loach in there with them & they have thrived together happily since I first got given my juwel 400Ltr Tank which is kept clean & regularly has water change but am worried if these minnows have an infection that they will infect the other fish. They live in cold water, the pump works fine & plants are also in good health!

Any ideas or advise welcome plz?!?
