Good evening!
I need some help on my Golden White Cloud Minnows please. I got them around two months ago. Unfortunately I did a fish in cycle with them as I hadn't heard of cycling beforehand. I learnt about it the day I got them home, so with a lot of water changes and prime, they all made it through bar one. This one, when I got them home, was smaller than the rest and from day one he hid away and soon stopped showing any interest in foods.
He died after a few days but the others seemed grand.
Then one of my others started hiding away too. He has now become extremely skinny with clamped fins and just sits at the top of the tank floating around. His tail seems to droop down. Honestly I'm amazed he's still with us.
I've now got another who's got clamped fins and starting to show less interest, though is still eating and swimming with the others at times.
The details are as follows:
20g tank
Ammonia - 0
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate - 10
WCMM - 7
Rummy nose tetra - 7
The rummy nose are all fine, with bright colours and no concerns. And my remaining 5 minnow also seem totally fine for now.
I can assume something is going on with them, but I've no idea what treatment to start or how. Any suggestions would be great. Thank you!
I've attached two pictures of the newly worrying one, and one of the tiny little mite who just keeps going.
