Have a look Here, although its talking about Canas apple snails, the method is the same. Just make sure that your snails are large enough. A ratio is not too important with them, but for the sake of variety 2 males and 3 females is ok, but its not really something to worry about unles i is vitally important to breed them.
Come on Gill get thoes photos!

Some Pix. They have Laid another big batch this morning Behind the tank  . So i had to move the tank and scrape them off the back, only think i smooshed around 10 eggs.

I have fed them all Spirulina this morning and sat and watched them zooming around the tank. Some already have dark shells while most have clear shells.

I now know that the Yellow is the male and the Pink Stripe is the female, as she laid eggs last night outside the tank.

Did you mean for it to be there?
Damn bendy glass, cant see the babies properly. They can be quite fragile at this stage, so dont handle them, and make sure you sink extra flake food in the tank for them.

I'll take some better pix tonight - thanks for the tip on extra food.

The 2nd Batch Hatched earlier and go some pix. I scraped them off the glass and lowered them into the water and they all started climbing out and falling to the bottom of the tank. then they started to zoom around.

Sorry, my bad.
Thats a lot of babies, any idea on roughly how many? It looks like you got a good yield from the batch.

Probably around 100 from this batch. i did have another batch, but it was in such an awkward place that the fish ate them as they entered the water in the 90G

I wish these were from the purple/Blue/Ivory Snails but maybe next time.

Brilliant pics Gill :good:

Thanks
