Minimum Tank Size for a Sailfin Pleco

Since I can't have my favourite catfish.....a royal plec....I thought about getting a sailfin plec for my 75gall....I know they grow to 18 inches but was wondering if it would be OK in my tank...

OH....the dimensions are 48 x 18 x 20 inches.....

I have had a sailfin in a 72 gallon, but it really wasn't enough for him, I thought!
It is a good startand will do him for quite some time.

You'll need a 6 foot tank for it in the end but a 75 should do it for a few years. The rough guide is that a tank should be 4x the length of the fish long and at least the length of the fish tall and wide.
