Mini Crab

hi, i have a mandarin crab in a two foot long tank, the water level is very low so he easily climbs out onto any of the 3 land areas i have made. he's not shy at all but i think he would benefit from some company, only problem with that is my lfs are not getting anymore in as it seems i was the only one to buy one and not have a problem, lucky me. anyway can i perhaps mix him with red devil crabs or vampire crabs? also what do they like as a treat as lately he has been off his crab biscuit and blood worm. maybe muscle?

When you have more then one crab, usually they will argue/fight. If the conditons are the same for both crabs, it is usually safe (not safe against fighting but against water conditions ) to have them together. Also, there is a chance one will kill the other, pull off limbs, and other stuff. If you decide to add more crabs, watch out for when the crab molts as that is hen it will be vulnerable and likely to get eaten.
